According to , Liverpool have had an offer of €50 million for Leny Yoro rejected by LOSC Lille.
The Merseysiders need a new centre-back to replace Joel Matip, who will officially leave the club at the end of the month as a free agent. They appear to have identified Yoro as a prime candidate for the role, but their pursuit of the 18-year-old defender doesn t seem to be going well.
Lille are believed to have rejected Liverpool s offer because they want at least €60m for Yoro s services, but that s not the only problem. They face competition from Real Madrid, and the teenager is said to be favouring a move to the Santiago Bernabeu ahead of all other options. Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly hold an interest as well.
Real, on the other hand, have no intention of meeting Lille s valuation of the player and are yet to take any concrete steps to sign him.
